We’re gearing up for the launch of New Organizing Project: Generation 2!

Over the weekend, NAKASEC and our bloggers will hold a skills building training and strategy session in Chicago hosted by our affiliate, the Korean American Resource & Cultural Center (KRCC).

We are excited to share our in-house expertise with our Generation 2 bloggers and also welcome Jeff Kelly Lowenstein, former journalist with The Chicago Reporter and currently the database and investigative editor with Hoy Chicago, and Demetrio Maguigad, new media manager at the Community Media Workshop, who will share their expertise and knowledge in media, social media and storytelling.

So who exactly are the members of our Generation 2 blogging team?

We’re not offering sneak peeks just yet! Watch out for their profiles during the first week of May where we will introduce them one by one! (But if you really can’t wait, follow us on Twitter over the weekend – we’ll be live tweeting throughout the training!)

And for the next five months, follow the conversation on our blog, Facebook and also on Twitter using the hashtag #NOPit.
