Adopt A Day of the DREAM Action! By adopting a day, your organization can set the theme and activities for the day or a portion of the day. We are stronger together!
As Asian Americans, an immigrant community with an estimated 130,000 DACA eligible youth, we will not stand for their futures being disposed of as a result of hatred, greed, and racism. To commemorate the anniversary of DACA’s implementation, NAKASEC, KRC and Hana Center will hold a 24 hour a day, 22 Day action in front of the White House to call on the Trump administration to keep DACA intact and to urge Congress to support the DREAM Act, which provides the permanent pathway to citizenship our young people deserve. We will place our bodies 24-7 outside of the White House to tell President Trump we are watching him and urge him to make the right decision for our young people. We will hold this action from August 15 through the September 5th deadline to fight for justice for our communities.
We call on the Asian American, immigrant and allied communities to join us! We call on faith leaders, labor leaders, teachers, Members of Congress, state legislators and others to fight for our young people!
