USCIS is accepting DACA Renewal Applications for a limited time

By January 25, 2018January 31st, 2018No Comments

On January 09, 2018, a judge in the California federal court ordered that the administration must continue to accept DACA renewal applications as it was doing before September 5th. The Trump Administration  has expressed their intention to appeal the court decision.

USCIS is now accepting certain DACA renewal applications. If your DACA expired before September 5, 2016, you must reapply by filing your application as a first-time one rather than as a renewal. A DACA permit that was expired for less than a year will still be considered a renewal.

Unfortunately no new initial DACA applications will be processed.
