On July 8, 2004, KRC hosted the “Days of Dialogue,” which sought to facilitate discussion in response to the beating of African-American driver Stanley Miller by the LAPD.The “Days of Dialogue” was originally created address the rise is racial tension that spurred during the infamous OJ Simpson case.The dialogue session on July 8th was facilitated by Harvel and Robert Lewis, volunteers of the City of Los Angeles Dispute Resolution Program and was attended by fifteen Korean American high school students, community members, and special guests including civil rights advocates Angela Oh and commanding officer Paul Kim.
