Name: Lyoung Hee Kim
Location: Los Angeles, CA

1. Who are you?
Hi, my name is Lyoung Hee Kim, and I am a summer intern in NAKASEC’s L.A. office. I am a graduate student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and studying public policy. I grew up in Korea and came to the U.S. last year.

2. Where are you?
I have been living in Los Angeles for a month.

3. What are you doing?
I am interning at NAKASEC for the summer. Specifically, I am helping people who are applying for DACA, which stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

4. A quote I live by:
“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.” – Theodore Roosevelt

5. What do you want people to know about you?
I feel lucky that I am interning at NAKASEC this summer. I really enjoy working with NAKASEC folks, and I’m learning a lot of things that I never learned in classes.

6. You might be surprised to find out that I:
still enjoy watching Disney movies even though I am old enough not to watch them. =)
