From July 2nd to July 24th, KRCC held its 2004 Summer Youth Camp with 17 Korean American youth from the greater Chicagoland area.The students participated in various sessions such as Korean Culture, Social Issues/History and college assistance classes.The three weeks gave youth an opportunity to learn more about issues that impact their community, re-discover their roots and heritage, and become more active in their community.The unforgettable Summer Youth Camp came to a close on July 24th with a graduation picnic to recognize the hard work of the youth participants.
