Meet Our Bloggers – David Cho

By May 6, 2011No Comments

You all know him as a powerful voice for the DREAM Act. He’s now translating that voice for the online audience where he hopes you will be moved to take action and be inspired. You can find his posts every Fridays – a perfect way to end the week. He comes to us from our Los Angeles affiliate, the Korean Resource Center and their college student group, AKASIA.

Name: David Cho
From: Los Angeles, CA

1. When I’m not blogging or engaged in community work, you can find me…
taking photos, watching movies or lifting heavy weights to one day become like Arnold Schwarzenegger, physically not politically.

2. My hope for the Asian American community is that…
we start thinking about 2050.

3. My favorite quote is…
“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.” — Dale Carnegie

4. I think social media is…
all about the audience. If it weren’t for you, us bloggers would not exist.

5. What I hope NOP readers and followers will be able to get out of our blogs…
A sense of optimism, confidence and humor.
