Joline Wolford

Jolene Wolford My name is Jolene Wolford and I have lived in Downey, Idaho for 9 years. I am 34 years old and am disabled. I believe citizenship means being a good community member, someone who contributes to the community. I do not think it is about being born in a certain place.
I am serving my community by volunteering at a rural food pantry and Toys for Tots, standing up for people who can’t stand up for themselves through the Idaho Community Action Network. I also encourage my children to be active in our community by having them volunteer with me. If I could tell Congress and President Obama one thing that my community cares about, it is that we need solutions that support everyone in our communities, like comprehensive immigration reform and health care for all.
