Support the DREAM Act!

Call your Congressmembers today!

March 24, 2009

Dear Friends,
The DREAM Act (Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act) is bipartisan legislation that would provide undocumented students a chance to pursue higher education and obtain legal status.

In anticipation of the bill’s introduction in the next few weeks, we are asking you to CALL YOUR CONGRESSMEMBERS AND ASK THEM TO COSPONSOR THE DREAM ACT!

Korean American and Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth have worked tirelessly since the bill’s introduction in 2001. Join them to support student legalization and access to higher education.
• Approximately 1.5 million of the estimated 12 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. are AAPIs.
• 360,000 Korean Americans are under the age of 18 and it is estimated that 1 out of 5 Korean Americans are undocumented.

To contact your Representatives and Senators please call the switchboard operator at 202-224-3121.
