Iowa Heartland Presidential Forum – Dec 1, 2007

By November 20, 2007No Comments

5,000 everyday people will gather in Des Moines, Iowa on December 1st to participate in a historic and unique presidential candidates forum. Instead of speaking to each other, the Iowa Heartland Presidential Forum will have the candidates interact with real people in face to face conversations about community values and the issues that hit at the heart of this country.

Candidates confirmed to participate are Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, John Edwards, and Dennis Kucinich, and Barack Obama. Moderating the event is Cathy Hughes, Chairperson of Radio One, the largest African-American owned broadcast network. CSPAN will be airing the event live.

NAKASEC and affiliates are mobilizing 55 dynamic Asian Pacific Americans, as well as viewing parties in Los Angeles & New York.
