NAKASEC Stands in Solidarity with  Asian American Partners in Support of Muslim Communities

WASHINGTON DC  — In response to the intensified anti-Muslim sentiment, the National Korean American Service and Education Consortium (NAKASEC) released the following statement in solidarity with national Asian American partners:

“We, a country of immigrants demographically changing and diversifying, have no place for the hateful rhetoric targeting our Muslim American and Sikh, and South Asian American brothers and sisters. We remain committed to fighting bigotry and xenophobia targeting any of our communities and lifting up their voices and stories to write a respective, welcoming narrative encapsulating all of our stories as Americans.”
