Charlina Mansaray joins NAKASEC VA as a Field Captain. Previously, she worked with NAKASEC VA as a canvasser. Charlina is a first-generation Sierra Leonean American interested in forming stronger relationships between and safe spaces for diverse communities. She has an educational background in Biology and Foreign Languages, and is working as a research assistant at George Mason University exploring race and K-pop.

Charlina speaks Sierra Leone Creole, English, Korean, and some Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys long drives down quiet streets, trying out new recipes and dancing to feel-good music.
