On July 16, 2004, NAKASEC along with other leaders including National Council of La Raza, United Farm Workers of America, the Nueva Vista Group, Service Employees International Union, and Majan Jean – a student facing imminent deportation – participated in a telephonic press briefing around the Ag Jobs bill and the DREAM Act.
