100 Days Campaign for #Citizenship4All

January 20 to April 29, 2021

In the 2020 election, immigrant communities delivered a resounding victory for Biden with one goal in mind: to elect a President to office who could be organized to pass citizenship for all. The President-elect has promised repeatedly during his campaign and in recent interviews to send to the United States Congress a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people in his first 100 days, and our intention is to ensure he delivers.

Will you commit to fighting for citizenship for all? Click here!

Our demands are clear. The Biden-Harris administration and Congress must legislate in the first 100 days:

  1. A pathway to citizenship for all 11 million undocumented immigrants, regardless of age, country of origin, or criminal background;
  2. A pathway to ensure the return of all deported people, including intercountry adoptees; and
  3. A moratorium on deportations with the goal of abolishing ICE and CBP.

Our Stories

Our plan is to share out 1 story per week over the first 100 days for a total of 14 stories. Because immigrant narratives are saturated in “deservingness” language that uplifts young, educated, able-bodied immigrants at the expense of others, our goal is specifically to uplift immigrants who are traditionally excluded first from immigration bills and uplift immigrants who are often left out in mainstream perceptions of our community.

Daily Calls

Our plan is to drive calls to Congress and the White House every single day for all 100 days, with the same demand: citizenship for all! In doing so, our goal is to provide community members with a way to engage virtually in action during covid-19, and ensure that Congress and the Biden administration feel tangibly both the urgency and public pressure around passing a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million.

Both strategies are designed to build on each other. The stories we share out would inspire people across the country to act, and the phone-dogging Zoom sessions we organize would be a space for people to convene and act together for citizenship for all!
