Job Opening: Immigrant Rights Organizer

The Korean Resource Center (KRC) is seeking a full-time Immigrant Rights Organizer in Southern California.


Duties

-Advocate immigrant rights issues, particularly, Legalization, Higher Education, Enforcement, and Civil Liberties on behalf of Korean American Community in Southern California.
-Build community coalition among immigrant communities to protect and advance the immigrant rights
-Assist the civic education and participation of Korean American community
-Organize and educate the Korean American community on the immigrant rights issues

Qualifications
-Commitment to immigrant rights and social justice issues
-Fluent in Korean and English and strong communication skills
-Previous experiences organizing immigrant community
-Able to work in a team and various level of Korean American generations
(Seniors, Youth, and Working Adults)
-Able to manage multiple tasks
-Able to work some evenings and weekends.
