Upcoming Monday In-state Tuition Requirements for Virginia DACA Holders

WASHINGTON DC- On Thursday, May 15, 2014, Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg (Legal Aid Justice Center), Emma Violand-Sanchez (Arlington Public School Board Member and Founder of Dream Project VA), and Jung Bin Cho (NAKASEC) spoke about the in-state tuition requirements for Virginia DACA holders and encouraged community members to attend next Monday, May 19th informational session in Arlington, Virginia. DACA recipients and their families, as well as education service providers and others interested in learning more about the application process for in-state tuition in Virginia DACA are invited to attend the informational session.

Jung Bin Cho, NAKASEC intern, and student in Virginia said, “It’s really reassuring to see that our hard work is helping DREAMers to continue their education by making it more accessible and affordable. This experience has further made me an advocate for ensuring that other AAPI students, like myself, have all the information needed to apply for DACA and in-state tuition.”
